The GIS4Schools project is a completed Erasmus+ focused on integratng GIS (Geographic Informaton System) technologies into secondary school STEAM educaton related to climate change.
The project engaged students in creating digital tools using Earth Observation data, fostering their interest and understanding of climate change’s local effects. Using InquiryBased Science Education and Problem-Based Learning pedagogical methodologies, students learnt how to utilize GIS.
