Create a tactile map with TMAP
Tactile Maps Automated Production (TMAP) is an accessible web-app that quickly generates tactile street maps by using raised lines and textures to represent roads, pedestrian paths, and railways. Maps generated by TMAP can range from a few blocks to a few miles wide.
You simply enter an address, intersection or landmark into the search bar. Then you can choose settings for paper size and map scale, and which features to include on the map. The map files that will be generated can be visually previewed, downloaded or emailed, then are ready to emboss on ViewPlus embossers, APH PixBlaster, or Swell Form machines.
