What do we really see down there?

At some point, even with a very tricky colour composition, a certain degree of uncertainty remains. Is that white surface down there snow, a cloud cover or even a beach?

The colour white means that all colours of the visible spectrum are reflected in the eye of the beholder. Can you use different false colour images to find out whether it is snow, cloud cover or a beautiful beach?
