    Well… I will be the first 😉

    Who I am: Geuffer Garcia

    Hailing From: Lisbon, Portugal

My Teaching Focus: ups, i’m not a teacher… I’m NUCLIO member, one of the partners of Geo-Academy projeto. I’m not a teacher, but I provide training for teachers, does that count? 😉

My Hope for Geo-Academy: My hope for the Geo-Academy project is that teachers will actually use the tools available here on the projeto, become autonomous, and create engaging lessons for their students. Lessons that can open doors to great innovations in the brilliant minds of students.

My Teaching Focus: I primarily teach Web Programming and STEM education, with a strong emphasis on gender equality, digital literacy, and responsible use of AI. My work blends narrative-based learning, space exploration outreach, and inclusive pedagogical strategies to empower students—especially young women—to enter and thrive in STEM fields.

My Hope for Geo-Academy: My main expectation is to gain access to innovative, research-informed lesson plans and classroom activities that strengthen students’ spatial reasoning, scientific curiosity, and global awareness. I am particularly interested in approaches that connect geoscience with emerging technologies, enabling learners to understand the world critically and act responsibly. Above all, I hope to join a community of educators committed to equity, creativity, and scientific rigor, where collaboration leads to meaningful improvements in how we teach and learn about our planet.
